Computer Support Services

At Serve My PC, we have two types of service: Reactive and Proactive. Reactive Service typically is a response to calls for help when things break, slow down, or need replacing. Proactive Service is like maintenance for your computer systems. Think of it as the periodic tune up for your computer and computer network.

Serve My PC offers what we call à la Carte service, where we respond to your call for help. This is a Reactive Service, you call when something breaks, and billing is done by the hour.

We also offer contract based Reactive Service. With our contracts, you prepay for a given amount of time per month, at a rate lower than our à la Carte rate. This is great for small to medium sized businesses.

We also offer a more Proactive Service. Our Proactive Service is also prepaid, but instead of being on call, we set a schedule to come by and take care of keeping your systems fine tuned. This involves maintenance items such as system updates, virus updates, hard disk defragmentation, and general system health reports. Don't underestimate the value of this service. In many cases, data loss can be linked to a customer's failure to properly maintain his systems.
